What can Talywerydd offer you?...
Due to the quiet nature of our park it is more suited to adults rather than families with young children.
Talywerydd is a quiet family-owned and family-run site.
We DO NOT have a clubhouse, swimming pool or amusement arcade.
We DO NOT have onsite entertainment, bingo nights, etc...
If you are looking for those things, then unfortunately, Talywerydd is not the site for you.
If, however, you are looking for a quiet beautiful coastal location to site your touring caravan for the season, offering you the basic facilities you need at an affordable price, then Talywerydd is well worth your consideration.
We have four beaches within a 3 miles, Penbryn, Tresaith, Llangrannog and Aberporth.
Ceredigion is blessed with some truly idyllic beaches where you can swim, surf, paddleboard, kayak or simply relax.
For the walkers amongst you, the nearest connection to the Ceredigion Coastal path is only a mile and a quarter from our gates.
The popular seaside resort and traditional fishing town of New Quay is also only 20 minutes drive along
the coast, as is the picturesque 19th Century harbour town of Aberaeron.
Nearby market towns (within 8 miles) include Newcastle Emlyn and Cardigan with Mwnt, Patch and Poppit Sands beaches all nearby.
A short drive south of Talywerydd will take you over the county border in to North Pembrokeshire. Tenby and Saundersfoot are both around an hour and a quarter drive away. Folly Farm is less than an hour's drive from us.
North of Talywerydd, again less than an hour's drive, is the bustling university town Aberystwyth, with it's beautiful promenade to stroll along. Make sure to take a ride on the cable tram dating from 1896, which takes its passengers to the top of Constitution Hill to enjoy amazing views overlooking Aberystwyth.
Why not enjoy a leisurely ride on a steam train on the Vale of Rheidol Railway which winds its way along the Rheidol Valley between Aberystwyth and Devil's Bridge.
There really is as much or as little to do as you want.
During the Spring/Summer months Talywerydd's views of the sunset over Cardigan Bay can be truly wonderful.
For the comfort and safety of all our guests we do not allow campfires of any kind on our coastal site.
We allow bbqs which are raised off the ground.
Quiet time on the park is 10pm-7am and with all that fresh sea air, adults and children alike are usually ready for a good nights sleep!
We accept well-behaved dogs. Maximum of two dogs per pitch.
